Insurance & Billing

Please note that it is customary to pay for services rendered at the time of your visit including any co-payments, co-insurance and/or deductibles.

Medicare:

The Cataract Surgery Center of Lawton is still the only Medicare approved ambulatory surgical center in Texoma where only vision care procedures are performed. This means no hospital stay, and no “hospital sized” bill.

Medicare generally covers the primary costs of cataract surgery, usually including: a comprehensive eye exam, a scan of the eye, the cataract surgery itself, the cost of a Monofocal Lens Implant, and necessary follow up care after surgery.

It is important to note that Medicare may not cover the cost of Advanced Technology Lens Implants. The amount of coverage, deductibles, and any co-pays are unique to each patient’s specific health insurance policy.

Health Insurance:

We accept most major insurance plans.

Please check with your insurance company to verify that we are a participating provider and no prior authorization or referral is needed.
